6/8/2013 | On June 8, President of the Foundation, Mr.Jianmin Jin attended an environmental technical seminar held by the CAEPA. The Chinese-American Environmental Professionals Association (CAEPA, http: //www.caepa.net/), founded in August 1988 in Oakland, CA, is a non-profit organization made up of professionals, educators, and others who are concerned about improving the environment.CAEPA’s goals include to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and knowledge on environmental management and pollution-control issues and technical and scientific support to environmental efforts in Pacific Rim countries. During the seminar,Mr.Jin had a talk with the President of CAEPA,John Chien,P.E. Mr. Jin hoped that CAEPA could contribute more knowledge and experiences to address the environmental problems in China. Mr.Chien agreed to assess the desires for environmental experts and projects and send its proper members to field direction in China. After the seminar,the attending engineers also discussed the report made by the chair on the current status on preparation of the 2013 International Conference on Sustainability and Environmental Protection to be held on October 12-13 in San Francisco. |
